I love the challenge of taking a complicated process and breaking it down into simple steps that anyone can follow. My career in technical writing and process documentation started when I began creating documentation for myself.

Since I am a big believer in sharing my knowledge with co-workers and enhancing the team, my efforts in documenting processes and procedures became the official documentation for the teams of which I was a member.

While at Compaq/HP, I wrote troubleshooting and how-to documentation for various IT tools, applications, and software for publication to the IT Help Desk web site.

After a long career in communications and technical writing at Hewlett-Packard, I have continued to share my expertise and passion for documentation with others.

Most recently at Noble Energy, where I was involved in documenting processes and procedures for the Supply Chain Management team. I collaborated with various teams, guiding them through mapping their processes and helping them with the writing and editing of the accompanying work instructions. I also developed the documentation as well as the process for maintaining and controlling their newly created documentation.

I am looking forward to continuing my interests in communications and technical writing and helping others with communications and documentation.
